KEY INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED:
Albizzia: Used traditionally for all manner of reactivity, this herb helps to calm the allergic response and has been used for rashes, eczema, hayfever and asthma.
Baical skullcap: A cooling and soothing herb that is directly balancing for an over-reactive immune response to an allergen or irritant, while also providing antibacterial support for optimal immune resistance.
Golden rod: The main action that Golden Rod exerts on the body is in reducing the production of mucus and catarrh, specifically in the sinus, nose and throat. It also has the ability to reduce inflammation in these areas, whether due to allergy or infection.
Golden seal: This powerful root has a phenomenal golden colour that gives the herb its name. Naturally high in the antibacterial and antifungal agent berberine, Golden Seal has been found effective for a wide variety of organisms and is also used to tone and heal tissues and reduce the production of catarrh and mucus.
Elderflower: The beautiful frothy white blossoms of the Elder tree are traditionally renowned for their ability to reduce congestion and catarrh, especially in the ears, nose and sinuses.
Eyebright: Not just for irritated eyes, Eyebright is also traditionally used for reducing the watery secretions that often accompany an over-reactive immune response to an allergen.
Cayenne: Stimulates circulation to the sinus area which may aid in liquefying and removing mucus and aiding breathing. Picrorrhiza: A powerful herb traditionally used for the treatment of allergy, skin conditions and asthma.
Direction & Caution
Take 3-5 drops 3-6 times daily.
Children:
- Acute relief: take 3-5 drops up to 6 times daily
- Maintenance: take 3-5 drops 3 times daily
Drops may be given straight into the baby's mouth or from a spoon, in water or a bottle, or on food.
Adults:
- Acute relief: take 10 drops up to 6 times daily
